I created “Mother Nature” for representation for the name. Majority of my art has an Afrocentric style. Mother Nature is looking down on Earth in not only grief for all the chaos happening but with hope. My illustration was featured in a pop up gallery with other amazing artists around the US and Africa to honor the tragic event of the Mother Emanuel shooting. I thought this illustration fitted best for the topic. I also had the opportunity to talk about my art piece on Live 5 News in an interview. I used vibrant and cooling colors to bring contrast to the starry galactic background.
